Chicken Coop

A growing number of people and organizations are conceiving and promoting energy efficient and environmentally sound ways of producing food in the United States. Chickens as consumers of kitchen waste and producers of food (eggs) and garden fertilizer are a part of that effort. These photographs were taken as a chicken coop was being constructed in rural northern California.
